About Us

Canopy Realtor Association operates and manages Canopy MLS, Canopy Real Estate Institute, and Canopy Housing Foundation. The association is the largest local Realtor association within North Carolina and ranks among the top 20 in the country. The association's jurisdiction extends to various counties, including Mecklenburg, Iredell, Haywood and a portion of Alexander County. The Canopy MLS service area covers 26 counties in North Carolina and includes three in South Carolina. Canopy provides comprehensive education on local, state, and federal issues that impact the real estate industry. Canopy Real Estate Institute provides a one-stop location for education and professional development to help members build their real estate careers through the virtual and in-person Canopy campuses. Canopy takes pride in our rich history and unwavering commitment to fostering fair housing, diversity, and inclusion within our Association and industry. Canopy Housing Foundation, the charitable arm of Canopy Realtor Association, provides members the opportunity to create impact through the foundation's grants, programs, and initiatives in Mecklenburg, Iredell and Haywood counties, and the regional Habitat Support Program.
